Summary
We are currently seeking a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis to drive Cresa’s budgeting & forecasting and management reporting. The role will partner closely with executive leadership to provide insights, guide decision making, and support the achievement of the company’s financial goals. In addition, the role will serve as the primary business partner for strategic business lines including Global Portfolio Solutions, Lease Administration, and SaaS.
The role will be instrumental in defining and implementing improved processes, reporting and financial systems requirements. This role requires working collaboratively with accounting and regional markets-based business finance team. This role will report directly to the VP, FP&A.
Essential duties and responsibilities
- Collaborate with department leaders to provide guidance on financial performance and operational drivers.
- Enhance financial reporting tools, automation, and processes for increased efficiency.
- Support the delivery of the quarterly, annual and medium-term financial commitments of Cresa through strong performance management processes, systems and capabilities and coordinate regular business reviews.
- Develop monthly/quarterly/annual executive financial summaries to ensure clear understanding of financial results, risks and opportunities.
- Develop standard processes and reporting packages to deploy across region Markets for evaluating business performance.
- Support the organizational Annual Operating Plan and Quarterly forecasts with effective tools and analysis to ensure understanding of financial projections & related risks & opportunities.
- Drive financial analysis of business performance results and key performance drivers to support business prioritization and strategic decision making
- Proactively build relationships across the organization, developing an understanding of business issues and aligning the FP&A function with the business’ growth agenda
Qualifications
- Proven history of implanting best practices around management reporting systems and processes into normal operations of the team.
- History of building relationships at all levels of an organization.
- Familiarity with real estate and professional services firms is preferred but is not required
- Demonstrated leadership role model for focused and disciplined finance thinkers who can derive actionable insights from data
- Team-based and collaborative work style. Looks to work with others to deliver results. Open and transparent approach to business issues and challenges
- Ability to assess business’ finance organization and talent needs collaboratively to meet profitable growth objectives
- Having a good executive presence that can relate to people at all levels of the organization with superior listening, communication and influencing skills
Education/Experience
- 7-10+ years of increasingly responsible financial experience with an outstanding professional record in a complex finance organization
