Asset Based Lending (ABL) Relationship Manager
The Asset Based Lending (ABL) Relationship Manager ensures loans are properly serviced, clients' financial status is reviewed, and collateral is appropriately analyzed and verified.
Responsibilities- Responsible for more complex deals.
- Evaluate all aspects of existing transactions of an assigned portfolio of clients to determine viability of credit and make recommendations to senior management and credit committee.
- Credit monitoring includes independent analysis of financial data, collateral trends, industry knowledge, economic conditions to form independent conclusions on entity's financial condition and assess key credit issues and risks in current loan structure.
- Handle a mix of primarily direct and agent deals with multiple bank participants, which are larger and highly complex.
- Develop a working relationship with borrowers or agent banks and business partners.
- Work closely with third-party turnaround consultants and other professional appraisal/liquidator firms.
- Set client relationship strategy.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly portfolio management reports; develop critical financial analysis, process client credit requests, amendments, waivers and renewals in a timely manner.
- Review client field exams, appraisals, collateral trends and reporting to identify and proactively recommend appropriate reserves, ineligible changes and credit solutions.
- Work closely with consultants on distressed credits.
- Ensure overall collateral reporting is timely and accurate and field exams are performed timely.
- Facilitate timely communication of critical credit analysis and recommendations through working relationships with borrowers or agent banks.
- Visit clients and oversee banker calling efforts to cross-sell bank products to enhance relationship and revenue.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 7+ years of ABL experience.
- Exempt Status:
Yes (not eligible for overtime pay). - $93,000 - $208,000 annual base salary (actual compensation may vary); eligible for incentive compensation plan.
