Turnaround & Restructuring Opportunity

BRG Corporate Finance offers a dynamic role within its Turnaround & Restructuring practice, focusing on strategic, operational, and financial advice for private equity firms, management teams, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Support day‑to‑day activities of the Turnaround & Restructuring client service teams on engagements.
  • Manage junior team members across multiple tasks, including financial modeling and client presentations.
  • Develop and oversee 13‑week cash flow models, three‑statement models, and pro‑forma scenario models.
  • Collaborate with T&R experts, other industry specialists, and client contacts to achieve engagement objectives.
  • Prepare reports, written analyses, presentations, and other client deliverables.
  • Assist in the growth of the practice through marketing, client pitches, and product development.
  • Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, quality, and integrity.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business, Accounting/Finance, Management, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Seven or more years of experience, preferably in consulting or professional services.
  • Expertise in Excel financial modeling: construction and interpretation of three‑statement models, cash flow models, and scenario analyses.
  • Ability to manage and analyze large volumes of financial and operational data.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; proficient in deriving insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent project management and teamwork abilities.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or GAAP accounting expertise are a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Familiarity with financial research tools such as Capital IQ, Bloomberg, or similar platforms.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
Compensation

Salary range: $120,000 to $185,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
