What you’ll do- Own and drive 1-2 end-to-end strategy engagement(s) with some oversight from Managing Directors
- Influence the strategic direction and business agenda for GCB in collaboration with other senior leaders through strategy engagements
- Opportunistically take lead in generating new, innovative ideas to transform current business models and product offerings
- Support building out our team and developing new, innovative capabilities over time
- Help manage active project portfolio and adjacent efforts including recruiting, staffing, and junior team member coaching
- Play a leadership role in attracting and developing junior team members and partners
- Minimum 8 years professional experience; 5+ years in a corporate development or strategy group of a financial services firm, management consulting firm, or investment bank
- Track record of excellence and achievement
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills; high level of comfort with numbers and financial modeling
- Entrepreneurial initiative, coupled with commitment to highest quality standards and attention to detail
- Team player able to bring together people and perspectives for new solutions, build confidence and trust
- Strong presence, executive communication, and relationship building skills
- Ability to work with changing deadlines and competing priorities
- Knowledge of commercial banking and capital markets is a plus
- MBA or an advanced business degree from a top-tier institution is a plus
