Job Description & How to Apply Below

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Manager, Pricing Operations based in the United States. This role sits at the core of a fast-scaling energy services organization, bridging Sales, Finance, Product, Legal, and Operations to ensure complex pricing decisions translate into successful deal execution. You will act as the internal expert for C&I solar and O&M pricing structures, guiding non-standard deals through ambiguity and toward clear resolution.

The role combines analytical rigor with hands-on deal support, requiring someone who thrives in fast-moving, cross-functional environments. You will also lead a small team while shaping how pricing issues are identified, escalated, and resolved across the business. Beyond deal execution, you will help strengthen pricing infrastructure by reducing exceptions and improving system-wide consistency. This is a highly visible role where your work directly impacts revenue velocity, pricing integrity, and operational scalability.

Accountabilities
  • Own the intake, triage, and resolution of non-standard and complex pricing requests, ensuring alignment across Sales, Finance, Legal, and Operations while driving timely deal closure.
  • Translate C&I solar and O&M pricing dynamics into clear, actionable guidance for Sales, ensuring consistent execution across commercial and residential deals.
  • Serve as the coordination point for contract, redline, and structural pricing questions, identifying stakeholders, resolving dependencies, and preventing deal stagnation.
  • Proactively communicate deal status, risks, blockers, and decision points to cross-functional partners to maintain high deal velocity and transparency.
  • Identify breakdowns in pricing systems and collaborate with Finance, Product, and Field teams to improve pricing models to reduce manual exceptions over time.
  • Capture insights from non-standard deals and feed structured learnings back into pricing frameworks to strengthen future decision-making.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a small team, setting priorities, building workflows, and improving escalation and decision-making processes.
Requirements
  • 5-8 years of experience in C&I solar, with strong exposure to O&M service economics, contract structures, and commercial pricing models.
  • Deep understanding of solar deal structures including PPA/lease mechanics, performance guarantees, and O&M contract frameworks.
  • Proven ability to operate across complex cross-functional environments, aligning stakeholders in Sales, Finance, Legal, and Operations.
  • Experience in pricing operations, deal desk, or revenue operations functions supporting structured deal execution.
  • Demonstrated people management experience, including coaching analytical or operations-focused team members.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to bring clarity to ambiguous or evolving processes.
  • Experience with tools such as Salesforce or CPQ systems is a plus.
  • Highly analytical, curious, and comfortable making decisions in environments with incomplete information.
Benefits
  • Competitive base salary range: $119,000 - $133,000 annually, with opportunities for merit-based growth beyond the starting band.
  • Performance-based bonuses tied to individual and company success.
  • Equity participation through stock options to share in long-term company value creation.
  • Comprehensive health coverage including 100% employer-paid medical premiums for employees and 50% for dependents.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching contributions.
  • 12 weeks of paid parental leave for all full-time employees after one year.
  • 4-week paid sabbatical after four years of service.
  • Annual learning and development reimbursement up to $500 for courses, certifications, or conferences.
  • Flexible work arrangements with remote-first options and occasional in-person gatherings depending on location.
