- Mission:
To provide essential financial and statistical data that management utilizes for policy setting and decision making. - Tech Stack:
Spreadsheets, statistical models, data mining and visualization tools
- Analyze Financial Data:
Provide comprehensive financial analyses related to budgets, forecasting, and allocation of expenses. - Develop Business Insights:
Conduct ad hoc analysis for business case development, custom financial analyses, and peer group analysis. - Model and Present Findings:
Develop and maintain spreadsheets and statistical models for financial analysis and prepare a variety of management presentations. - Consult and Troubleshoot:
Offer internal consulting for all levels of management and research and resolve problems and errors in data from financial reporting systems. - Support Financial Systems:
May provide assistance in the development of financial applications and prepare interest rate pricing and forecasting for asset and liability management.
- Background:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, with working knowledge of financial analysis techniques and general accounting procedures. - Experience:
Typically five or more years of related experience, demonstrating thorough knowledge in financial analysis, forecasting, and planning. - Skills:
Well-developed mathematical and analytical skills, ability to identify and resolve exceptions, analyze data, and strong technical skills related to data mining and visualization tools. - Bonus:
Master’s degree preferred
