Job Description

We’re seeking an experienced ETF Capital Markets professional to play a pivotal role in the launch and growth of our U.S. ETF business. From day one, you’ll be a key contributor to ETF launches, helping establish operational processes, liquidity strategies, trading oversight, and external relationships. As the platform grows, you’ll become the firm’s capital markets expert, guiding creation/redemption activity, monitoring trading quality, and supporting asset growth across the ETF range.

Responsibilities

    • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any issues related to trading.
    • Monitor ETF market quality, including volume, creations/redemptions, premiums/discounts, etc.
    • Serve as a technical subject‑matter expert in all areas related to ETF trading.
  • Support relationship management efforts and oversee client service functions.
    • Maintain relationships with authorized participants, market makers, trading platforms, and exchanges.
    • Provide expertise and trading guidance on client activity.
    • Assist clients with efficient ETF trading execution and provide education on ETF liquidity and trading strategies.
  • Keep internal teams and products aligned with industry standards.
    • Keep abreast of regulatory market practice changes and inform/train the team accordingly.
    • Evaluate the impact of market changes on team operations.
    • Understand the needs and limitations of external partners and how they impact internal processes.
  • Develop and enhance internal ETF tools and processes.
    • Coordinate execution of key initiatives and projects within the ETF Capital Markets platform across functional groups.
  • Increase visibility of the L&G ETF range, with participation in industry conferences and events.
  • Support and collaborate with distribution to assist in new business opportunities and meetings with existing clients.
Qualifications
  • Extensive experience (5‑8 years) in capital markets with a strong ETF background, preferably across asset classes – equities, fixed income, and derivatives.
  • Experience as a senior member in an ETF Capital Markets team.
  • Strong existing relationships with ecosystem partners (authorized participants, market makers and exchanges).
  • Enthusiasm for the ETF industry, a positive attitude, and a drive to succeed.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, given the high degree of interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
