Brighton Jones is hiring an Advisor to manage client service teams, provide analytical and operational support, and drive client engagement. The role is fully‑time, exempt, and requires an in‑office presence.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Acts as the first point of contact on client communications; strategizes with Lead Advisor to ensure responses are timely and thorough.
  • Reviews current client portfolios and makes recommendations in consultation with the team, proactively considering strategic and tactical opportunities around investments and other planning areas.
  • Prepares comprehensive client meeting deliverables including Cash Needs Analysis (CNA), Strategic Asset Allocation (SAA), and Vocational Freedom Analysis (VFA); analyzes all client data and evaluates potential planning strategies.
  • Provides spreadsheet analysis on an ad‑hoc basis for advanced financial topics such as tax‑loss harvesting, stock‑option and restricted‑stock wealth transfer strategies, and risk transfer/management; maintains all record‑keeping related to these activities via portfolio management software.
  • Responsible for reviewing, approving, and strategizing around trades and portfolio rebalances.
  • Attends and leads client meetings; owns the execution of post‑meeting actions in conjunction with Analysts.
  • Leverages internal and external resources to achieve client objectives in Investment Management, Estate Planning, Tax Planning, Risk Management, and General Planning; works with tax, investments, and estate planning teams to determine required details.
  • Seeks out leadership roles in the team and firm projects/assignments.
  • Trains, guides, and mentors the team on complex planning areas and strategic intricacies of service delivery and support.
  • Maintains all aspects of the Wealth Management Scorecard (WMS), including planning topic status, score, and last review date; ensures content is accurate and timely.
  • Crafts client meeting agenda and determines deliverables to be presented; collaborates with Lead Advisor to define both client strategy and presentation format.
  • Prepares and finalizes all standard deliverables based on inputs from team members (CNA, SAA, VFA).
  • Works with tax, investments, and estate planning teams to determine additional details required for the client’s situation.
  • After client approval, works with the team to ensure timely and accurate execution of all tactical implementation tasks.
  • Presents ideas and concepts in an organized and effective manner; attends client meetings and ensures action items are communicated and recorded in the CRM.
  • Partners with the Associate Advisor to achieve timely execution of intra‑day requests such as trades, wire requests, and journal entries; initiates and reviews these requests and ensures completion within specified time frames.
  • Manages an in‑office, full‑time, exempt position with a flexible work‑from‑office culture.

Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, or a related industry.
  • Undergraduate degree required.
  • Professional certifications required: CFP®, CPA, CFA, or JD.
  • Baseline proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Windows); expected to learn other position‑related systems on the job.
  • Organized and capable of handling multiple client relationships with competing priorities, coordinating team resources effectively.
Compensation & Variable Pay
  • Pay: $85,000 - $135,000 per year.
