Role Overview

As a member of the J.P. Morgan internal sales team, you will work closely with a senior territory‑based sales partner to develop a holistic strategy to cover a territory of financial advisors. You will service existing clients while also identifying new business opportunities. As an ICA you will spend the majority of your time on the phone speaking with advisors, cultivating relationships, building partnerships, and sharing ideas that benefit the advisors and their clients.

Successful ICA candidates will not only have a strong understanding of financial markets, but also be able to explain complex financial concepts in simple, repeatable terms.

• 2+ years financial sales experience, experience selling over the phone needed
• Proven track record of success in selling Investment Management and/or Retirement plans and maintaining relationships
• Proven success with multi‑tasking and staying on top of priorities
• Ability to learn and demonstrate industry and product knowledge by understanding the competition, the client and marketplace (technical expertise)
• Capacity to build relationships across entire organization and with partner firms (strength managing relationships)
• Familiarity with financial markets, market terminology, capital markets history and economic indicators, along with equity, fixed income, international, emerging markets, currency and alternative asset classes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to effectively leverage our global resources

• Ability to tell the "JPM story" clearly, concisely, and in a compelling way to create interest by utilizing the JPMorgan seven‑step sales process

• Proficiency in the use of our customer relationship management (CRM) system
• Effectiveness in presenting to financial advisors

• Bachelor's degree required
• Licensing:
  Required prior to hiring or obtain: SIE, Series 7, Series 63 (or 66)

We offer a competitive total rewards package including base salary determined based on the role, experience, skill set and location.
