Job Summary: The Vice President of Finance & IT for Nonni's Bakery provides economic and financial expertise to the CEO/General Manager in setting Budget and PS3 business targets across the organization. This executive leader oversees all financial planning and controlling activities of the Company, providing updated information to support the analysis of variances from Budget and to guide the identification of corrective actions.
As guardian of the internal control system, the VP is responsible for securing financial and accounting processes and sustaining financial compliance and de-risking. This role additionally leads the IT function, coordinating the Company's technology strategy in alignment with the broader Ferrero ecosystem. The scope of the position spans both the USA and Canada. The ideal candidate will have executive‑level experience in the food and beverage industry, with a strong understanding of the unique financial, operational, and technology challenges affecting businesses in this sector.
- Ensure functional integration by defining the Function Agenda, Function Projects, and informing the Board on business insights and trends, making decisions and cascading them throughout the Function and towards FBCUK when needed.
- Serve as the main interface for FBCUK on Finance topics, reporting to the CEO through regular Function Reviews and ad hoc meetings.
- Guarantee that the Function operates in compliance with Federal, State, and Company rules and procedures.
- Prepare the financial planning that supports the CEO in the definition of Budget and PS3.
- Oversee the financial plans of the Geographies and Brands.
- Provide reliable and up‑to‑date information to contribute to the periodic analysis of variances from Budget, supporting the business in the identification of corrective actions.
- Ensure the reliability and accuracy of the Company's Financial Statement figures.
- Oversee all Company policies and procedures related to administration and accounting compliance.
- Lead the implementation of a tax optimization plan for the Company's taxes, customs, and insurances.
- Ensure that tax, customs, and insurance activities are compliant with fiscal policy across both U.S. and Canadian entities.
- Oversee plans and strategies for providing the financial resources needed to conduct the business. Safeguard the assets of the Company and measure Group results in terms of financial performance, investments, and risks.
- Coordinate the definition of the Company's IT strategy in alignment with the Ferrero ecosystem.
- Allocate resources to drive the innovation pipeline upon assessing business needs.
- Lead the IT function, ensuring technology infrastructure supports business objectives and operational efficiency.
- Act as guardian of the internal control system, securing financial and accounting processes.
- Sustain financial compliance and de‑risking across all geographies in scope.
- Work closely with external auditors and lead end‑to‑end audit engagement and processes.
- Collaborate with the CEO/General Manager and Board to develop and execute long‑term financial strategies and growth initiatives.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to guide strategic decision‑making, including investments, acquisitions, and capital allocation within the food and beverage industry.
- Manage assigned personnel, ensuring a management system based on company values, motivation, diversity & inclusion, competence development, and empowerment.
- Promote proper communication and cascading through line managers to the teams.
- Recruit, manage, motivate, coach, and develop the team, guaranteeing professional development, evaluating people, and proposing development initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA and/or CPA strongly preferred.
