Job Overview

Corient is seeking a Financial Planning Analyst to support high‑ and ultra‑high‑net‑worth clients with comprehensive financial planning services, including tax, estate, insurance, and charitable gifting strategies.

• Collect and analyze client financial information to understand goals, risk tolerance, and current financial situation.
• Prepare charts, graphs, tables, and other visual aids for client meetings.
• Input data and prepare financial plans and preliminary recommendations for Wealth Strategist or Wealth Advisor review.
• Develop plans for tax planning, estate planning, insurance recommendations, charitable gifting, and college planning.
• Monitor asset allocations and rebalance as needed to align with clients’ investment policy statements and overall goals.
• Review and follow up on operations items such as wires, journals, account openings, and charitable requests.
• Prepare and review investment portfolio recommendations for prospects and clients.
• Collaborate with senior team members to develop comprehensive financial plans.
• Conduct investment asset‑class research.
• Compile, enter, and monitor CRM workflows related to client financial planning requests.
• Support the Wealth Planning Team as needed.

• 3–5 years of wealth‑management experience, preferably in the ultra‑high net worth market.
• Bachelor’s degree in financial planning, finance, accounting, or business administration.
• CFP® designation preferred.
• Strong knowledge of tax, investments, and estate planning.
• Excellent investment research skills.
• Proficient project management and presentation skills.
• Professional business acumen and effective communication skills.
• Solid understanding of eMoney planning software.
• Self‑starter with strong analytical skills, capable of working independently and as part of a high‑touch team.

Position is exempt and paid according to the laws of the State of Illinois. Pay range: $75,000 – $100,000 USD per year.

Office environment with prolonged periods of sitting and computer use. Able to lift up to 15 pounds. Required to work onsite 4 days per week.

Must be 18 years of age or older and have unrestricted work authorization in the United States.
