Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Global Finance Associate in Chicago to join its team. The role involves working on Asset Based Lending and leveraged finance transactions with both bank and non-bank clients.
Responsibilities- Draft and negotiate transaction documents.
- Lead financing transactions.
- Collaborate with lenders on direct lending and syndicated finance deals.
- Engage with borrower/sponsor clients on fund finance matters.
- Minimum of three years' experience in commercial lending transactions.
- Experience with sponsor finance/LBO finance preferred.
- Admitted or eligible for admission to the bar in Illinois.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
- Bar admission in Illinois or eligibility for admission.
- Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
- Ability to lead complex transactions.
