Position: Treasury Sales Officer I - Healthcare Not For Profit - Higher Education

Job Description

Bank of America seeks a Treasury Sales Officer (TSO) to manage and actively pursue treasury revenue streams and product penetration across an assigned portfolio of not‑for‑profit healthcare and higher education organizations. The role requires driving strategic engagements, advising on payment, liquidity, card, and eCommerce solutions, and expanding solutions per relationship (SPR) while partnering across the enterprise.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow treasury revenue streams and product penetration within the assigned portfolio.
  • Pursue client prospect opportunities outside of the portfolio as needed.
  • Collaborate with Client Managers, Treasury Sales Analysts, Credit Officers, FX Trade Advisors, Global Investment Advisors, Card Managers, Trade/SCF Advisors, Liquidity Specialists, and other partners to provide tailored US and international treasury solutions.
  • Act as a digital ambassador by driving mobile, digital, and real‑time payments adoption.
  • Engage with complex not‑for‑profit healthcare and private higher education companies as a working‑capital, financial‑technology, and trusted advisor.
  • Articulate industry trends and best practices to C‑suite executives and revenue‑cycle teams.
  • Lead speaking engagements with industry organizations (e.g., HFMA, NACUBO) and create client/prospect events focused on innovation, fraud, patient satisfaction, and system integration.
  • Advise clients on P2E and digital strategies involving payments, receipts, liquidity, card solutions, revenue‑cycle solutions, and eCommerce.
  • Drive expansion of Solutions Per Relationship, ensuring revenue/product growth, client calling initiatives, portfolio development, pricing, RFP/RFI responses, and client‑facing treasury presentations.
  • Identify and evaluate treasury solutions through client‑focused cost/benefit analysis and bank‑focused profitability analysis.
  • Maintain strong client focus while understanding operational bank aspects, and develop customized treasury solutions in partnership with product specialists.
  • Lead pricing and negotiation discussions to optimize relationship profitability and year‑over‑year growth.
  • Coach and mentor Treasury Analysts and collaborate with Servicing and Implementation teams to support client needs.
Required Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of Treasury Sales Officer experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
  • Proven track record in treasury management sales.
  • Broad and deep familiarity with global treasury management products, services, and trends.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Negotiation, active listening, and executive presence abilities.
  • Strategic thinking, problem‑resolution, and business/financial acumen.
  • Ability to navigate the enterprise, engage partners, and escalate as needed.
  • Strong partnership building and prioritization skills.
  • Team‑player mindset within a fast‑paced environment while managing client satisfaction and risk.
Desired Skills
  • Experience in for‑profit, not‑for‑profit, higher education, or healthcare banking or revenue‑cycle roles.
  • 3+ years of banking experience.
  • Prior card solution experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in finance, accounting, management, or related field.
  • Certified Treasury Professional Certification (CTP) or MBA/Equivalent.
Education

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

Shift

1st shift (United States of America).

Hours

40 hours per week.

Pay

Annualized salary range $ – $ (based on experience, education, and skill set). Eligible for discretionary incentive and annual discretionary plan.
