Equipment Finance Associate What You’ll Be Doing
- The Equipment Finance Associate works in a dynamic environment alongside Sales, Operations, Asset Management and Management colleagues to originate loans and leases.
- This candidate will support new business origination, servicing of the existing portfolio of loans and leases, and developing sales materials for CIBC Equipment Finance’s nationwide business.
- Coordinate transactions from opportunity inception through booking.
- Create marketing materials, term sheets, and market presentations.
- Assist with pricing, credit approval preparation, and document negotiation.
- Support end-to-end relationship management including portfolio servicing and payoff requests.
- Learn the credit culture of CIBC Bank USA to present appropriate credits for approval.
- Maintain Salesforce pipeline and client/prospect records.
- Engage with asset management and operations in the execution of original transactions as well as ongoing portfolio maintenance.

- You have a degree/diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field with 1‑3+ years of experience within the banking or financial services industry.
- Formal Credit Training completed.
At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $85,000 – $110,000 for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
