Overview
The Associate Director, Business Development will support the US Oncology Network development and M&A Finance teams to achieve financial growth targets. The role includes regular collaboration with the Vice President of Due Diligence and Strategy, M&A Finance, practice leadership, and other department leads. It provides a launchpad for advancement into broader business development or finance roles.
Key Responsibilities- Support financial modeling for forecasting cash flow, identifying market opportunities, and estimating transaction economics.
- Assist with collection of practice information, develop pro‑forma financials for small transactions, and provide lending assistance.
- Create customer‑facing presentations and internal executive summaries.
- Manage overall deal process, coordinate with legal, operations, and other functions to shorten the sales cycle.
- Develop market analytics and growth strategies for supporting markets and guide strategic planning sessions with affiliated practices.
- Evaluate incoming practices during due diligence, assess risks and opportunities, and finalize the practice’s budget.
- Act as an ongoing resource for Managers of Business Development during onboarding and throughout the engagement.
- Prepare presentations for field‑based directors on transaction value propositions.
- Communicate with legal, M&A finance, and operations to resolve deal points and quantify growth areas.
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of financial analysis or business development experience in a corporate/consulting environment.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proven ability to interact with senior leaders and think strategically.
- Adaptability to changing environments and solutions‑oriented mindset.
- Healthcare industry experience preferred.
Base Pay Range: $119,600 – $199,400. Compensation may include annual bonus or long‑term incentive opportunities.
