The Cash FP&A Analyst will support global Free Cash Flow forecasting, reporting, consolidation, and analytics while partnering across Finance, Treasury, Controllership, and business teams. The role strengthens cash performance management through accurate reporting, actionable insights, process improvement, and strong governance over enterprise cash data.

About the Role

Join the GE Health Care Global Finance team as a Cash FP&A Analyst, supporting Free Cash Flow forecasting, reporting, consolidation, and performance management across a global organization. You will partner across regions and businesses, maintain the cash source of truth, and deliver insights that support executive decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual Free Cash Flow forecasting and planning by assessing cash flow timing and predictability, and analyzing key business drivers, risks, and opportunities impacting cash performance.
  • Lead quarterly consolidation and review of global cash flow statements, ensuring accurate and consistent reporting across regions and businesses, performing variance analyses, and preparing executive reporting packages for leadership reviews.
  • Report global Free Cash Flow results and forecasts across businesses, segments, and regions; develop insights to improve cash generation, working capital, and cash conversion, and support management reviews and ad‑hoc cash performance analyses.
  • Validate cash‑related performance metrics used in incentive and bonus programs and ensure consistent calculation and reporting of cash metrics.
  • Own the enterprise cash reporting database and source of truth while maintaining governance, data quality, controls, reporting infrastructure, and process effectiveness to ensure accurate, consistent, and transparent cash reporting.
  • Streamline forecasting, consolidation, reporting, and analysis processes by driving automation, standardization, and continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalable cash management practices.
  • Apply financial analysis and problem‑solving skills to assess operational, financial, and macroeconomic impacts on Free Cash Flow and partner across Finance, Treasury, Controllership, and Operations to drive sustainable cash improvement.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in FP&A, Finance, Controllership, Treasury, Corporate Finance, or related discipline; or FMDP graduate with 2+ years of post‑program experience.
Desired Characteristics
  • Strong Communication & Influence:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial information and effectively communicate insights and recommendations to senior leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Analytical Excellence:
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and solve complex business problems using data‑driven insights.
  • Financial & Business Acumen:
Deep understanding of cash flow, working capital, financial statements, and enterprise performance management, with the ability to connect financial outcomes to operational and business drivers.
  • Project & Process Leadership:
Strong organizational and project management skills, with a proven track record of managing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines, driving process improvements, and enhancing reporting efficiency.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork:
Ability to build strong partnerships across regions, businesses, and functions, with demonstrated success working in a collaborative, fast‑paced, and global environment.
