FP&A Director, Private Equity

Overview

My client, a top Private Equity firm (40b AUM) is looking for an FP&A Manager to join their team due to growth. Our client works on a hybrid basis in downtown Chicago, offers competitive compensation, comprehensive health, PTO and retirement benefits.

• Improve financial forecasting, reporting, and data processes
• Own planning models, ensuring consistent methodologies and reliable data
• Partner with accounting, analytics, and operations teams to align assumptions and standardize outputs
• Implement and optimize financial systems, dashboards, and automation tools
• Reduce manual processes through AI-enabled solutions and stronger controls
• Maintain a single source of truth for financial definitions and assumptions
• Deliver scenario modeling and financial analyses for senior leadership
• Identify opportunities to scale and streamline finance operations

• Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or CFA preferred
• 8+ years in finance, FP&A, strategy, or accounting
• Strong grasp of financial statements, cash flow, and performance drivers
• Track record of leading process improvements across teams
• Proactive, organized, and solutions-oriented
