Mortgage Loan Processor – To $70K – Chicago, IL – Job # The Position

The successful candidate will manage residential mortgage loan files from application through underwriting, ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with lending regulations while coordinating with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, title companies, and other parties to facilitate timely loan closing.

The position includes a generous salary of up to $70K and an excellent benefits program. (This is not a remote position.)

• Review mortgage applications for completeness and accuracy.
• Collect and verify required documentation, including income, assets, employment, credit, and property information.
• Order and track appraisals, title reports, flood certifications, and other required documents.
• Prepare loan files for underwriting and submit complete packages.
• Communicate with borrowers to obtain missing documentation and provide status updates.
• Work closely with loan officers, underwriters, escrow/title companies, and closing agents.
• Review underwriting conditions and coordinate with borrowers to satisfy outstanding requirements.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, investor, and company lending guidelines.
• Maintain accurate loan records and update loan origination
