Position: Financial Institutions Group - Payments - Sales Associate

Overview

As a Payments Sales Associate in the Financial Institutions Group, specifically for the mortgage segment, you will assist Payments Sales Managers with managing sales relationships and generating new business from a diverse set of mortgage customers. The role requires collaboration with client service, compliance, operations, technology, risk, credit and legal to optimize product delivery, and active understanding of the market, industry, and client structures.

Responsibilities
  • Understand clients' business goals, environments, strategies, and industry trends to identify new business opportunities for J.P. Morgan Payments.
  • Develop account plans and briefing memos, support relationship reviews, and understand account structure, cash flow, and product usage.
  • Build strong relationships within client Treasury, Product, and Operations organizations, anticipate client needs and engage appropriate partners.
  • Coordinate and negotiate KYC, onboarding documentation, internal credit processes, and manage integration with implementation partners.
  • Review and analyze transactional data to identify trends, risks, pricing/billing inefficiencies; conduct pricing analysis and recommend strategies.
  • Identify new ways to advance team-wide initiatives and represent client interests in cross-functional engagement.
Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in cash management, transaction banking, merchant acquiring, or related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, synthesizing complex problems into concise conclusions.
  • Goal-oriented with innovation and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent time management, organization, and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Capability to mobilize internal networks and resources.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree.
  • Knowledge of JPMorgan Treasury Services products, pricing philosophy, and billing processes.
