Finance Role in GE Health Care's Science & Technology Organization
This role is a critical position within GE Health Care's Science & Technology Organization (STO) Finance team, directly supporting the Finance Leader for STO FP&A and Enterprise R&D, and is best suited for someone who wants to grow in their Finance career and contribute to GEHC's Research & Development goals, company's purpose, and drive tangible outcomes. This individual will have broad exposure to senior leadership including STO, CTO organization, Group FP&A, and Segment finance teams, and will play a key role in shaping GE Health Care's R&D investment strategy and financial rigor.
GE Health Care (GEHC) is a leading global medical technology and digital solutions innovator. Science & Technology Organization (STO) is one of the critical functions of GEHC that advances GEHC's digital strategy across Cloud, AIML, platforms, research and scientific partnerships, care pathways.
This role has four main pillars and will provide:
- WWPP (World Wide Product Planning) Enterprise Finance Support & Integration
- Enterprise R&D Spend Consolidation/Analytics and Innovation KPI Reporting
- STO Finance Change Champion (drive standard work and enhanced capabilities)
- STO R&D Investment Planning Support (WWPP, LTS, Budget)
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; 8+ years financial experience.
- Strong FP&A background with group-level exposure and senior leadership interaction.
- Experience leading complex consolidations and cross-functional programs.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Essbase/Hyperion, Power BI and PPM (Portfolio Project Management) tools.
- Exceptional communication skills; ability to explain complex topics clearly.
- Strong critical thinking skills and proactively assess risks and opportunities on the portfolio
- Ability to operate in a global, matrixed environment and navigate ambiguity.
- MBA, CPA, or completion of GE/GEHC finance leadership programs.
- LEAN or Six Sigma experience with demonstrated process improvements.
- Analytical, critical thinker with strategic problem-solving capability.
- Influential leader who drives change and standardization across stakeholders.
- High integrity, resilience, and comfort in innovation-driven environments.
