Investment Banking Associate/VP - Healthcare M&A Overview

A middle-market investment bank with a strong presence in healthcare is seeking Associates/VP's to support its M&A advisory practice. The team specializes in healthcare services, HCIT, hospitals, and senior living, advising on sell-side, buy-side, recapitalizations, and private placements.

This role offers significant transaction exposure, client interaction, and responsibility in both execution and business development.

• Develop and maintain financial models and valuation analyses for live deals and pitches
• Support preparation of client presentations, marketing materials, and proposals
• Execute across all phases of M&A and capital raising transactions
• Conduct financial statement analysis, benchmarking, and industry research
• Interact with management teams, private equity sponsors, and senior bankers
• Manage workflow and mentor junior team members
• Contribute to business development efforts and firm positioning

• ~3+ years of investment banking experience (M&A preferred)
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and accounting skillset (3-statement fluency)
• Demonstrated transaction experience
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities
• Strong communication, project management, and attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field; advanced degree a plus

• Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Team-oriented with leadership capability
• Willingness to travel and work extended hours as needed
