A leading global law firm is hiring a Debt Finance Associate for its Chicago office. The firm's banking and finance practice is consistently ranked among the strongest in the market, advising financial institutions, direct lenders, private equity sponsors, and corporate borrowers on complex domestic and cross-border financings. You will work within a team that handles the full range of transactional capabilities, from syndicated and leveraged finance to acquisition financing.
WHATYOU WILL DO
You will advise sponsors, lenders, and corporate borrowers on syndicated and leveraged finance transactions. You will draft and negotiate credit agreements, commitment papers, and financing documentation. You will work on complex, high-value deals that build technical depth and direct client exposure.

WHAT YOU NEEDJD from an accredited law school.
Admission and good standing with a U.S. state bar, or ability to obtain admission in Illinois.
4 to 7 years of experience in debt finance, leveraged finance, or related banking transactions.
Strong drafting and negotiation experience on credit agreements and financing documentation.
Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
