Wealth Account Opening Specialist

Job Description

Seeking a highly experienced Wealth Account Opening professional to join the Private Banking Operations team. This person will initially come in as a contractor with the long-term intention of becoming a full-time leader and potential successor to an existing manager.

• Manage and support the end-to-end onboarding and account opening process for Wealth Management and Private Banking clients.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on:
  • Trust accounts
  • Investment accounts
  • Asset transfers
  • Funding processes
  • Contra firm transfers
  • New account onboarding
• Work closely alongside the current manager to gain knowledge and eventually serve as a potential successor.
• Drive operational efficiency and improve client experience.
• Support teams through periods of high account volume and changing business priorities.
• Help navigate and support upcoming technology initiatives, including implementation of Appian workflow automation.

• 5+ years of account opening experience within Wealth Management, Private Banking, Trust, or Investment Operations.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Trust and investment account onboarding
  • Asset transfers and funding
  • Wealth operations processes
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with:
  • SEI SWP platform
  • Salesforce
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
