As a Booking Analyst Team Lead on the Loan Operations Team, you’ll play a key role in closing, analyzing, booking, and servicing small to mid-size commercial and consumer loans. You and your team will act as the subject matter experts on loan system requirements for entering and servicing customer, commitment, and loan information. At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role.

You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 2-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Interpreting Loan Documents:
    Review and understand loan documents such as notes or credit agreements for new, renewed, and modified loans.
  • System Setup:
    Accurately set up customer, facility, and loan information in the loan system for new or existing deals.
  • System Maintenance:
    Perform system updates related to quality control corrections and subsequent client requests, such as rate changes, payment instructions, and regulatory codes.
  • Inquiry Management:
    Research and respond to internal and client-related loan inquiries.
  • Supporting Department Initiatives:
    Assist with miscellaneous tasks related to other departmental projects and initiatives.

  • Competitive salary: $85,000 - 88,000 for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position.
