Operational Risk Management Analyst

I'm working with an exciting and rapidly growing multinational banking and financial services corporation, looking to add an Operational Risk Management Analyst to their team!

hybrid in Chicago, IL

About this role:

• Support key US ORM programs, including preparation, quality review, and distribution of RCSA program reporting, control testing outcomes, operational loss metrics, and management materials.
• Maintain trackers, action logs, calendars, meeting materials, and other tools used to support program execution and governance routines.
• Support execution of risk assessment activities, including Risk and Control Self-Assessments, Change Initiative Risk Assessments, and other operational risk assessment processes as required.
• Conduct research, benchmarking, data analysis, meeting preparation, documentation, and follow-up activities to support assigned initiatives.

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, risk management, economics, accounting, data analytics, or a related field preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in financial services, risk management, operations, compliance, audit, controls, analytics, or a related discipline.
• Foundational understanding of risk management, internal controls, governance, banking operations, or financial services regulatory expectations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with data, identify trends or exceptions, and summarize information clearly and accurately.
