Accountant, Cost Accountant, Financial Analyst

We re seeking a collaborative and analytical Accountant to join a growing manufacturer s Finance team. This role serves as a key financial partner to manufacturing and operations, driving product costing, capital investment analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives that improve plant performance and profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain standard product costs, analyzing material, labor, overhead, and manufacturing variances
• Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Shipping to evaluate capital investment opportunities, including ROI, payback, and cost savings projections
• Build financial metrics and dashboards to track plant performance, productivity initiatives, and manufacturing KPIs
• Support monthly financial close, inventory accounting, and manufacturing-related reconciliations
• Assist with select accounts payable functions, ensuring manufacturing and capital expenditures are accurately coded and approved

Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline
• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, or financial analysis, within a manufacturing environment
• Experience developing standard costs and analyzing manufacturing variances; ERP experience preferred
• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, lookups, and financial modeling
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial business partners
