Job Description:
The Capital Formation and Investor Relations team is focused on developing and implementing the fundraising strategy of the Firm and its individual fund offerings. Activities covered by this group include, but are not limited to, responding to requests for proposals(“RFPs”); creating and updating presentation materials covering the Firm and its fund offerings; managing the Firm’s communications and public branding; organizing and coordinating communication with clients and prospects;
coordinating fund closes, and working with the investment team and finance and operations team to aggregate the data necessary to execute the aforementioned functions. The contemplated role will focus primarily on supporting the needs of the senior capital formation and investor relations team.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Assist with responding to requests from external sources, such as clients, consultants, and prospective clients requiring data‑related information and written material on the Firm and its fund offerings;
- Maintaining and updating marketing collateral, including the supporting data, charts, graphics used in presentations;
- Assisting in tracking various components of the fundraising process including updating trackers and reviewing AML documentation;
- Applying advanced Excel knowledge and private equity investment understanding to aggregate and manipulate data to create various performance exhibits and graphs to support internal and external presentations;
- Assisting in the production of quarterly client reports, including verifying the accuracy of data contained therein;
- Managing online consultant and third‑party databases with Firm and investment information;
- Managing content included in the Firm’s customer relationship management system( CRM ), investor portal and data room as needed;
- Maintaining compliance logs for distribution of all marketing material; and,
- Researching and identifying prospective clients.
Qualified Candidates Will Have:
- Undergraduate degree with excellent academic credentials;
- 0-2 years of experience, ideally in a related field of financial services, investing, and/or marketing for a finance‑related firm;
- Remarkable attention to detail and drive to self‑review;
- High proficiency in PowerPoint and Word, with proficiency in PowerBI a plus;
- Deep understanding of and demonstrated proficiency in Excel (ability to construct and navigate complex spreadsheets, create detailed charts, etc.);
- Experience working with CRMs (Deal Cloud experience a plus);
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to work with people across all levels of the Firm and engage with clients and prospects;
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills, with a disposition of taking ownership of deliverables;
- Ability to prioritize workload and work on a number of projects concurrently; and,
- Basic to advanced understanding of private equity.
Compensation:
Compensation will be competitive based on the market and the successful candidate’s experience level and will consist of a salary, bonus and profits‑based incentive plan. Additionally, the position includes a strong benefit package and participation in the Firm’s 401(k) plan, which includes a matching component.
