Health Actuary Senior Consultant

DW Simpson seeks a Health Actuary Senior Consultant to support clients across the insurance and healthcare sectors. In this role, you will lead actuarial analyses for pricing, reserving, forecasting, and risk modeling, while advising on product strategy and regulatory impacts. You will translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for clients, develop models using actuarial and statistical tools, and ensure the accuracy and compliance of all work.

You will also contribute to business development, mentor junior staff, and collaborate closely with internal teams in a professional, client-focused environment with strong growth potential.

Responsibilities

• Lead health actuarial analyses for pricing, reserving, forecasting, and risk modeling
• Develop and validate actuarial and statistical models using relevant software and data sources
• Interpret complex actuarial results and present clear, actionable insights to clients
• Support product strategy, financial planning, and regulatory compliance initiatives
• Prepare reports, presentations, and client deliverables with high accuracy and professionalism
• Collaborate with internal teams to scope projects and ensure alignment with client needs
• Contribute to business development through proposals, insights, and relationship support
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior actuarial and analytical staff
