Health Actuary Manager

DW Simpson seeks a Health Actuary Manager to lead actuarial projects supporting health insurance and related risk portfolios. In this role, you will manage pricing, reserving, and forecasting analyses, guide junior actuarial staff, and ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. You will collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to develop models, analyze claims experience, and provide actionable insights on product design, rate filings, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead health actuarial pricing, reserving, and forecasting analyses
• Develop and validate actuarial models using health claims and enrollment data
• Prepare rate filings, financial projections, and regulatory reports
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior actuarial staff
• Partner with clients and stakeholders to interpret results and recommend actions
• Ensure compliance with actuarial standards, regulations, and internal controls
• Support product design, risk management, and profitability analysis
• Communicate complex actuarial findings to non-technical audiences
