Actuary

DW Simpson seeks a hybrid Actuary to support clients across the professional, scientific, and technical services sector. In this role, you will develop and validate actuarial models, perform pricing and reserving analyses, and interpret complex data to inform risk and financial decisions. You'll collaborate closely with internal teams and external clients, present analytical findings clearly, and contribute to high-quality, ethical service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and maintain actuarial models for pricing, reserving, and risk analysis.
• Analyze large data sets to support financial, risk, and strategic recommendations.
• Prepare clear reports and presentations explaining actuarial findings to clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high-quality, ethical, and timely deliverables.
• Support regulatory and financial reporting requirements as needed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Participate in client meetings to understand needs and refine analytical approaches.
• Pursue ongoing professional development toward actuarial credentials and advanced skills.
