The group advises corporate clients and private equity investors on mergers and acquisitions, capital raises, strategic alternatives, and other complex financial transactions. This role offers significant exposure to live deal execution, client interaction, and business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Build and review financial models, including DCF, LBO, merger, and comparable company analyses.
- Perform valuation, financial analysis, and due diligence for M&A and capital markets transactions.
- Prepare client-facing materials, including pitch books, management presentations, board materials, and transaction marketing documents.
- Support execution of sell-side, buy-side, debt, and equity transactions from launch through closing.
- Conduct industry and company research to identify strategic opportunities and market trends.
- Manage transaction work streams and coordinate with clients, investors, legal advisors, and other stakeholders.
- Review analyst work product and help develop junior team members.
- Participate in client meetings and contribute to business development and origination efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Approximately 3-6 years of experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, valuation, corporate development, or a related field.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Experience working on live M&A and capital markets transactions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and project management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
- High level of professionalism, attention to detail, and intellectual curiosity.
- Prior investment banking experience.
- Exposure to Business Services, Industrials, or related sectors.
- Experience working with private equity clients and sponsor-backed businesses.
