Summer Internship – Acquisitions

Heitman is seeking rising Seniors to join our 2027 Summer Internship Program in our Acquisitions department. This team is responsible for investor reporting and analysis and is a great place to start your career in real estate and gain experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment!

Capstone Project – Collaborate with your cohort to complete a project with real world application and experience first-hand what it takes to be a successful real estate investment manager

Our Acquisition steam prepares pro forma cash flow projections for potential investment opportunities,creats deal summaries, c oordinates and participates in due diligence. This is a collaborative team that works closely with other departments throughout the investment process. This role is in office 5 days a week.

• You are a rising Senior at a US based college/university
• Working towards a degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Business, or other related majors
• Strong project and time management skills
• Love collaboration–working together across multiple departments
• Problem solving experience leveraging your analytical and critical thinking skills in school and/or business
• A “think outside the box” mindset –with a desire to brainstorm creative solutions in our ever-changing industry
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• This position is based in our Chicago office.

The expected hourly rate for this role is $25/hr and will be further discussed during the interview process. This range represents what Heitman reasonably and in good faith believe s we would pay a qualified candidate for this role at the time of posting.
