Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree, PLUS four (4) years of work experience in the administration of diversity, equity, racial, and/or social justice programs, of which one (1) year is in a supervisory role related to the responsibilities of the position, OR
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree or higher, PLUS three (3) years of work experience in the administration of diversity, equity, racial, and/or social justice programs, of which one (1) year is in a supervisory role related to the responsibilities of the position.
Preferred Qualifications:
Juris Doctorate, conflict resolution experience, governmental workplace experience with diverse employee populations, experience working with unions.

SELECTION REQUIREMENTS
This position requires applicants to complete an interview. The interviewed candidate(s) possessing the qualifications best suited to fulfill the responsibilities of the position will be selected.
Preference will be given to candidates possessing the following:
* Experience in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI) for a large government organization
* Conflict resolution experience
* Experience working in a union environment
* Juris Doctorate degree
* Proficiency leading equity assessments
* Experience with qualitative and quantitative data analysis

Initial evaluation will be based on the information provided on the application and the documents submitted. Department of Human Resources staff will review applications after the final posting date. Staff will follow all required employment/hiring plan provisions, federal, state, and local laws, and collective bargaining agreements when applicable.
