Special Operations Support Policy Staff Officer II
JMark Services, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and mission-focused Special Operations Support Policy Staff Officer II to provide critical support to the HUMINT & Sensitive Activities Directorate within the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Intelligence and Security (OUSW(I&S)).
This position supports the oversight, coordination, and development of policies associated with sensitive activities and special operations programs. The ideal candidate will bring experience supporting Special Operations Forces (SOF), sensitive operational environments, and intelligence-related policy initiatives within the Department of War and Intelligence Community.
The selected candidate will operate in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment supporting senior leadership decision‑making on matters related to special operations, counter terrorism, irregular warfare, and sensitive activities.

Key Responsibilities Policy Development & Coordination- Support the oversight, management, and coordination of complex sensitive programs and activities.
- Assist with planning, directing, and coordinating policy development efforts related to sensitive activities and special operations support.
- Provide rapid-response support for short-notice taskings, executive inquiries, and senior leader decision support requirements.
- Coordinate across Department of War organizations and stakeholders to support policy alignment and operational objectives.
- Research, gather, and synthesize intelligence and operational information related to special operations, counter terrorism, and irregular warfare initiatives.
- Prepare background papers, executive summaries, read‑ahead materials, briefing packages, and talking points for senior leadership engagements.
- Analyze intelligence and operational policy issues and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
- Support the development, review, and revision of strategic guidance and policy direction related to sensitive activities.
- Assist in coordinating assessment, reporting, and oversight activities tied to special operations and sensitive programs.
- Contribute to the implementation of solutions that improve operational effectiveness and senior leader decision‑making processes.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance
. - Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting Special Operations Forces (SOF) and/or clandestine operations.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience developing policy and providing strategic recommendations.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a high‑tempo, high‑stakes environment.
- Experience preparing executive‑level briefings, staff packages, and policy documentation preferred.
- Familiarity with Department of War policy processes and intelligence oversight environments.
- Knowledge of sensitive activities, counter terrorism operations, and irregular warfare policy.
- Experience supporting senior government leadership in operational or policy‑focused roles.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
