Parking Services Agent I – Enforcement – Campus Parking

Salary Range: $20.40 – $20.40 per hour
Duties & Responsibilities- Ensure parking enforcement activities comply with University, City, and County rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Respond to violations with written citations.
- Patrol parking lots and structures to verify assignments and rule compliance. Issue citations for violations.
- Answer telephones, perform data entry and retrieval, and dispatch information. Provide information about citations, enforcement rules, parking status, directions, and assistance. Conduct license plate data lookups and relay information to department staff and management. Document all incoming calls and dispatches.
- Document patrol activities that are suspicious or pose a safety threat and report dangerous situations to the supervisor immediately.
- Maintain records of citations written for abandoned vehicles and other incidents handled during the shift.
- Assist with traffic control as directed.
- Maintain and manage parking enforcement radio equipment and other necessary equipment.
- Provide customer service such as direction and escort service to and from vehicles.
- Assist with meter collections and collection of other fees as directed.
- Notify appropriate managers of significant or recurring parking problems.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
