Director
- Financial Systems

Role Overview The Director
- Financial Systems lead and optimize financial systems, month-end close, general ledger operations, reporting, and internal controls by partnering across Finance, IT, and operational teams to ensure data accuracy, compliance, process efficiency, automation, and informed decision-making throughout the organization.

Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee the integrity, efficiency, and strategic advancement of all financial systems and the control environment, ensuring accurate, compliant data to support high-quality decision making while driving technology enabled improvements across core financial operations.
  • Lead and manage month end close and general ledger operations, including posting charges, cash receipts, and system-generated entries in collaboration with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, impact area finance teams, and cross-functional teams; maintain accuracy, continuity, and data integrity across all system modules while sustaining a strong internal control framework.
  • Partner with departments across the organization to understand reporting needs, develop and refine financial reports, and ensure system outputs support business operations. Act as a bridge between Finance, IT, and operational teams to improve data visibility, strengthen reporting quality, and support informed decision-making.
  • Drive operational excellence by identifying and monitoring key performance metrics, implementing new technologies and automation, and leading financial system upgrades or transitions. Partner with IT, Mission Support, People & Culture, and other teams to streamline workflows, enhance data integrity, and improve the overall efficiency and transparency of financial operations.

  • Kneel and move from sitting, bending, kneeling, or standing multiple times a day
  • Climb up and down up to 3 flights of stairs at a time
  • Lift, push, and pull up to 25 lbs

Education and Experience Requirements:

Minimum

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with financial systems and reporting

Preferred

  • Master's degree (MA/MS) in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with project management

Certifications and Licensure

  • Minimum: CPA Candidate
  • Preferred: CPA or CMA
