Our Chicago office is looking for a Political Operations Coordinator who will provide day‑to‑day support to the Central States Regional Offices. The role will promote political engagement and administer support across the region in partnership with the political and development departments.
Job Duties & Responsibilities Research and Reporting- Track and report on relevant political‑giving data
- Conduct research on congressional races
- Create and analyse Salesforce reports and data
- Research, gather and deliver political information requested by political activists
- Work with political leaders to manage events through the AIPAC PAC portal
- Coordinate logistics of lay leaders lobbying meetings, caucus meetings and Meet & Greets with Members of Congress
- Plan logistics and implement recruitment plans of regional political events for political chairs, major political activists and rabbis
- Assist with scheduling and organising donor, candidate and lobbying meetings
- Track political events
- Coordinate invitations for members of Congress, local elected officials and other VIPS for regional events
- Track legislative efforts and congressional statements and actions
- Send targeted Action Alerts and other related emails
- Track data on mobilisation actions taken by activists
- Responsible for all administrative support for regional political team
- Manage relevant constituency databases
- Create PowerPoint presentations
- Other duties as assigned by Regional Political Director
- Passion for a strong U.S.‑Israel relationship a must
- Minimum of 1‑2 years of relevant experience
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Experience with planning and executing events
- Experience in political campaigns or with elected official offices a plus
- Strong attention to detail; excellent organisational and time‑planning skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritise work to meet deadlines
- Must be a self‑starter
AIPAC is offering a competitive market‑base salary between $50,000.00 and $65,000.00 for the position. A job offer within this range will depend on how closely a candidate’s skills and experience match the role’s requirements. AIPAC also provides a competitive and comprehensive benefits package that contributes to employees’ total compensation. One remote day a week is permitted while the remaining four days are on‑site in the office.
