Position Overview Under administrative direction, serves as working supervisor. Develops, implements, and administers state-wide policies and procedures for the state-wide probation compliance investigation program in accordance with all applicable acts, rules and regulations including the Probation Compliance/Impaired Program. Analyzes data, computer printouts, and statistical samples to identify trends and initiate investigations. Organizes, plans, and controls the activities involved in the implementation of overt/covert investigations of practitioners under the purview of the licensure acts, the interview/interrogation process of violators and witnesses, the collection, organization and preservation of evidentiary materials, the maintenance of investigation files and the docketing/logging of all investigative cases.

Serves as spokesperson for the Department with external agencies, facilities, and associations, i.e., other State, Federal and local agencies regarding probation compliance matters/issues often of a sensitive and confidential nature. Participates in the preparation and administration of the section budget for programs and personnel including travel, equipment, and miscellaneous funds. Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
