About the Position:

Incumbent will serve as the policy specialist for integration of all aspects of logistics management functions within areas of supply and equipment operations and maintenance.

Experience:

One year of specialized experience which includes:

  • Analyzing logistics programs to evaluate operations and identify areas for improvement;
  • Interpreting logistics policies and guidance to support program execution and resolve operational issues;
  • Developing logistics procedures and program documentation to support equipment, maintenance, supply, or related logistics functions;
  • Recommending logistics solutions to improve readiness, accountability, efficiency, or overall support effectiveness.

This definition of specialized experience is typical work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12) You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
Packaging, Handling, Storage & Transportation Problem Solving Strategic Thinking Support Equipment Written Communication

Time in Grade Requirement:

Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
