RoleSummary
This is a full-time, on-site Esthetician/Laser Technician role located in the Greater Chicago Area. The role involves performing skin care treatments, laser hair removal services, and other non-invasive cosmetic procedures in accordance with company protocols and safety standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting client consultations, assessing skin conditions, recommending appropriate treatment plans, and maintaining accurate treatment records. The position also requires delivering excellent customer service, educating clients on post-treatment care and ongoing skin health, and supporting sales of services, memberships, and recommended products.
The Esthetician/Laser Technician will collaborate with team members to ensure a clean, well-organized treatment environment and consistent, high-quality client experiences.
- Demonstrated skills in hair removal, including laser or other advanced techniques, with a strong focus on safety and efficacy.
- Background in cosmetology or esthetics, with practical experience providing professional skin care treatments.
- Proven customer service abilities, including clear communication, empathy, and the capacity to build trusting client relationships.
- Sales skills to promote services, treatment plans, and skin care products in a consultative, client-centered manner.
- Current esthetician or cosmetology license (or eligibility) in the relevant state, with laser certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Knowledge of skin types, common skin concerns, and contraindications for aesthetic and laser procedures.
- Attention to detail, adherence to infection control and safety protocols, and commitment to maintaining a clean, professional workspace.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, manage a steady appointment schedule, and work collaboratively within a clinical or spa setting.
