We are currently seeking a reliable and compassionate Radiology Transporter to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless delivery of radiology services to our patients.

As a Radiology Transporter, you will be an essential part of our healthcare team, responsible for safely and efficiently transporting patients to and from radiology departments within our clinic. Your role is critical in maintaining patient comfort and ensuring timely diagnostic procedures while upholding the highest standards of patient care.

Pay starting at $15/hour.

As a Radiology Transporter with Ortho Arizona, you will get to:
  • Safely transport patients to and from radiology departments using the appropriate equipment (e.g., stretchers, wheelchairs, or other specialized transport devices).
  • Ensure the comfort and well-being of patients during transit, taking into account any medical conditions, age, or special needs.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to address their concerns, provide reassurance, and answer questions.
  • Collaborate with radiology and nursing staff to coordinate the timing of patient transfers, ensuring minimal disruption to radiology schedules.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures to maintain a sterile and clean environment.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure it is clean, safe, and in good working condition.
  • Complete necessary documentation related to patient transport, including tracking patient arrivals and departures.
  • Assist in other clinic duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and transfer patients safely, as well as push/pull equipment as required.
  • Knowledge of patient care and medical terminology is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of infection control and safety protocols.
  • Compassionate, patient-centered attitude and strong empathy for patients.
  • Must be available full time.
