Supply Chain
  • Provides leadership and oversight of Supply Chain operations, including sourcing, purchasing, inventory management, distribution, contract optimization, and participation in group purchasing organizations (GPOs).
  • Partners closely with clinical leaders and department leadership to assess par levels, supply utilization, and service line–specific needs, ensuring inventory levels appropriately support patient care, safety, and operational efficiency.
  • Leads and governs the value analysis process in collaboration with physicians, nursing, and clinical leaders to evaluate products, standardize utilization, and support evidence‑based, cost‑effective sourcing decisions.
  • Serves as the operational owner of the procurement‑to‑payment (P2P) lifecycle in partnership with Finance and Accounts Payable, ensuring purchase order compliance, accurate invoicing, timely payment, and resolution of discrepancies.
  • Establishes and enforces supply chain policies, controls, and approval workflows to support financial stewardship, audit readiness, regulatory compliance, and continuity of supply.
Dietary & Food Services
  • Provides leadership and oversight of Food and Nutrition Services, including patient meal services, clinical nutrition and dietetics, retail or onsite food operations, and food service support for programs and events.
  • Serves as the accountable owner for regulatory and accreditation compliance across Food and Nutrition Services, including Joint Commission, IDPH, CMS, and all other applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Ensures food service and catering operations supporting Adult Day Services comply with Illinois Department on Aging standards, including meal requirements, special diets, food safety, documentation, and service delivery expectations.
  • Partners with clinical leadership to support nutrition care planning, dietitian workflows, and patient‑centered clinical nutrition services in alignment with medical, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
  • Oversees food safety, sanitation, infection prevention practices, and corrective action planning to maintain continuous survey readiness.
  • Collaborates closely with Wellness Center leadership to support event catering, programming, and related logistics, ensuring alignment with operational needs, participant experience, and regulatory requirements.
Special Projects Leadership
  • Leads planning and implementation of strategic projects, including dialysis joint ventures, behavioral health and urgent care service line development, and affordable housing initiatives.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders, physicians, executives, and external partners to define project scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Develops and oversees comprehensive project plans, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in compliance.
  • Ensures compliance with applicable regulatory, contractual, and financing requirements.
  • Coordinates procurement, contracting, and operational readiness activities related to new programs and services.
  • Provides regular status updates and recommendations to executive leadership.
General Operations
  • Partners with department leaders to establish and execute service standards, operational plans, and performance metrics aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Leads the identification of operational risks and challenges and drives the development and implementation of corrective action plans.
  • Provides oversight and accountability for departmental budgets, productivity targets, and expense management, ensuring financial stewardship and operational discipline.
  • Drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery, operational efficiency, and overall performance.
