This is a full-time, on-site Emergency Medical Technician role based in Chicago, IL. The Emergency Medical Technician will be responsible for providing pre-hospital emergency care and transportation services to patients. Key responsibilities include assessing patients' conditions, administering first aid or life support as required, operating emergency vehicles safely, and maintaining records of patient care. The role requires collaboration with medical and healthcare teams to ensure high-quality care and adherence to operational protocols.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Emergency Services and Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
- Certification with the U.S. National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) and/or Paramedic certification
- Strong knowledge of medical practices and procedures
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Availability to work various shifts, including nights and weekends
- CPR certification; knowledge of local EMS systems is a plus
