Part Time 20hr/week – M-F varies between 10:00am-6:00pm. Saturday is required 9:00am-1:00pm. Compensation: $18.75-$24.00.

An Outpatient Pharmacy Technician assists pharmacists in providing medication and healthcare services to patients, ensuring efficient pharmacy operations and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities- Assist in filling and labeling prescriptions, ensuring accuracy in medication dispensing. This includes checking for potential drug interactions and verifying patient information.
- Greet patients and healthcare providers, answering questions regarding medications and pharmacy services. Provide information about prescription status and assist with insurance claims.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking stock levels, placing orders for medications and supplies and removing expired products. Ensure that the pharmacy is well-stocked and organized.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, patient profiles and medication orders. This includes documenting any changes or updates to patient information.
- Adhere to all federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA guidelines, to ensure patient safety and confidentiality. Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- A high school diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree in pharmacy technology or completion of a pharmacy technician training program is preferred.
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) is preferred.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy setting is advantageous, but there will be some on-the-job training.
- Proficiency in using pharmacy software and technology for processing prescriptions and managing inventory.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
