Work Schedule: 4 Hr (8:00:00 AM - 12:00:00 PM)

Pay Range: $16.20 per hour

The pay range for each role reflects Rush’s anticipated wage or salary reasonably expected to be offered for the position. Offers may vary depending on the circumstances of each case.
Summary:
Responsible for providing intermediate level research skills including identification and recruitment of participants; data collection, data entry; literature searches, site recruitment, coordinating quality control procedures and manuals for data collection and management;
Exemplifies the RUSH mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with RUSH policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred;
Equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered. - Must be a Current Rush University Student
- HIPPA training; CITI certification required 30 days after hire
- Research related experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills; excellent organizational skills.
- Must be able to work efficiently, follow-through with assignments independently, have excellent attention to detail as well as strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others and excellent communication skills is essential.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to use one's time efficiently with only minimal direction is essential.
Preferred
Job Qualifications:
- Knowledge of data recording and storage procedures in quantitative research projects. Familiarity with including experience with word processing software, spreadsheets and other data management software
- Previous experience in quantitative field research projects.
- Perform subject identification and recruitment
- Obtain consent from potential subjects
- Collect and manage complex data about contacts related to consent process
- Accurately performs all data collection, data entry and data analysis to generate reports
- Assists in development of system to track, retrieve and store data based on criteria of the study
- Perform other research related duties as requested
- Coordinate appointments, schedules meetings with data collectors, study participants, study site(s) and other relevant study committees; documents meeting outcomes as needed;
- Work collaboratively with study team to identify systemic barriers to subject participation and makes recommendations to address as needed
- Assist faculty researchers with preparing data for budget justification; funding source reports
- Conduct library and database search for relevant articles to support findings of study as needed
- Assist faculty researchers with administration of selected aspects of research related to study
