Job SummaryWe seek a Physician Assistant to work closely with an orthopedic surgeon. The PA will plan, coordinate, and execute medical procedures on patients, utilizing experience in orthopedic surgeries to provide the highest level of care. Candidates will work in our office clinics and at hospital settings for surgeries.
Job Responsibilities- Formulate appropriate treatment plans for patients.
- Develop sound principles of orthopedic care.
- First assist in surgical cases.
- Provide ultrasound-guided joint injections, splinting/casting as necessary.
- Facilitate pre-operative patient care.
- Complete charts, record reviews, and patient paperwork.
- Review physical therapy progress notes.
• Active PA-C certification and IL PA license.
• Comfortable with suturing/closing wounds in surgery.
• Additional orthopedic experience will be a plus but other skills can be trained.
