Pay Range: $27.47 - $43.27 per hour

to be part of our
Psychotherapy Team
in the Social Work and Community Health Department at Rush University Medical Center!

Job SummaryThis position in the Social Work and Community Health (SWaCH) Department will provide psychotherapy to patients of one of Rush’s specialty care clinics, Infectious Disease. To best support the mental health needs of this population, we are looking for candidates with a strong background in mental health treatment and experience with medically complex populations, including but not limited to those who are diagnosed with HIV and AIDS.
This position will also have the opportunity to receive individual and group supervision while having access to continuing education opportunities throughout the hospital system. This position exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with RUSH policies and procedures.
Other information Required Job Qualifications- Master’s Degree in Social Work.
- Licensed Social Worker (LCSW) in State of Illinois.
- Two years’ experience in healthcare, care management, mental health and/or social services.
- Experience with relevant population(s).
- Professional qualities such as initiative, self-reflection, commitment, responsiveness and adaptability.
- Knowledge of care management, community-based interventions, assessment, counseling and/or motivational interviewing.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office and others).
