Shift: Day Shift | 5x8s | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities Clinical Duties- Room patients and obtain vital signs (height, weight, pulse oximetry, vision testing)
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Administer injections, immunizations, TB tests, and nebulizer treatments
- Perform specimen collection and labeling (UA/clean catch, pregnancy tests, glucose testing via glucometer)
- Assist with Pap smears and suture removal
- Record patient history, medications, and allergies in Cerner
- Provide follow-up phone calls and patient education as needed
- Handle pharmacy calls and prescription refill requests
- Support clinic workflow and care coordination
- Preferred: 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience AND
- MA associate’s degree or MA Diploma (transcripts required)
- BLS
- AAMA
- AMT
- NHA
- ARMA
- NCCT
- NRCMA
