PositionSummary
The Administrative Coordinator for the Academy Department assists the Group Director of Educational Services and Clinical Educators in the day‑to‑day operations of the Academy Department.
ResponsibilitiesProcess paperwork for patient enrollment and discharge, manage charges for school services, track attendance for patient files, process billing and complete monthly billing statistic reports.
Obtain and document consents/releases of information from parents/guardians, communicate with school districts, teachers, counselors, parents, and internal hospital staff regarding patient students.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Group Director of Educational Services.
Position DetailsWork schedule:
20‑24 hours per week, Monday‑Friday between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
On‑site benefitted position.
QualificationsEducation:
High School or equivalent required, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience:
1‑3 years of admin/education experience required.
Licensure/Certification:
Valid substitute teacher license preferred.
Knowledge:
Educational setting and instructional issues (or willingness to learn), detail‑oriented, strong organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Typing 45+ wpm. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, File Maker Pro, and school platforms.
Supervision received:
Group Director of Educational Services.
Classification:
Non‑Exempt.
