Certified Lymphedema Therapist TX

A community hospital located a few hours south of Dallas, TX is seeking a full-time, permanent Certified Lymphedema Therapist
- PT or OT to join their team!
Open to New graduates – training provided

Starting Pay: $41.00 / hour + $5,000 Retention Bonus

  Schedule:
  
  (5) 8-hour shifts or (4) 10-hour shifts
• Setting:
  Neuro Rehabilitation
• Great therapy leadership and administration team
• Student Loan Assistance of $40,000

• The Certified Lymphedema Therapist will review the Physician's referral (prescription) and the patient's condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required
• Instructs, motivates, and assists patients to perform various physical activities and in the use of assistive and supportive devices such as crutches, canes, and prostheses
• Certified Lymphedema Therapist records treatment, response, and progress in the patient's chart or enters information into the computer
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical or Occupational Therapy program
• Must have an active TX PT or OT License, or the ability to obtain
• Certified Lymphedema Therapist, or ability to obtain by start date
• No experience required - Training provided
